The Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project depends on the financial support of generous contributors and foundations.  While American University’s Washington College of Law provides excellent resources for some of the Project’s administrative needs, we do not receive direct funding from the university.

Any and all contributions are appreciated. We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization and your contributions are tax deductible as provided by law.   Donations of funds will be used to cover expenses such as investigative and legal costs.  We are hoping to build up a sufficient endowment to allow us to hire additional full-time staff, including a permanent investigator, to help manage our cases.  If you wish to make a donation by mail, please mail a check to our Project at:
