Cocktails and Conversation with the West Memphis Three Team

*In 1994, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley, Jr. were convicted over thin evidence of three brutal child murders in West Memphis, Arkansas. The teens’ interest in heavy metal music and a Satanic panic in the community led to life sentences for two and a death sentence for one. In their 18-year fight for freedom, the West Memphis Three became an international cause célèbre, and in 2011, a team of lawyers, artists, and activists finally secured their release.
